Are we talking about BI (help you understand what happened) or we are talking about advanced analytics ( help you understand who will it happen to or why something happened, that is to say, combining the what with the when, who and why:
1- Predictive analysis (to answer the when question)
2- Descriptive analysis (to answer the who question)
3- Qualitative analysis (to answer the why question– identify the reasons for the when and who)
